Combo is specially designed to handle the rigours of
modern baitcasting. The Shimano Curado 200HG K reel’s components
ensure superior casting – from Shimano’s X-ship technology to the
SVS infinity braking system. You’ll also get the new Shimano #KAOS
Baitcasting Rod in Lime Green that takes comfort and performance to
a whole new level.

The Reel
The next generation Shimano Curado 200HG K Baitcaster
Reel sets a new benchmark in everyday performance and
saltwater durability. Featuring the latest in Shimano’s innovative
MicroModule gearing and X-Ship for smooth rotation, combined with
the new SVS Infinity Braking System for enhanced casting
performance. To withstand the toughest saltwater environments, the
Curado K is designed with a specially plated pinion gear, combined
with a breakwater wall and drainage port to provide protection
against corrosion. This reel is also 10% smaller compared to the
previous model. Enhanced by the metal Hagane Body to provide added
durability and rigidity.

Micro Module gearing
With the gear teeth super-refined to the limit, the Micro Module
Gear system enables seamless engagement and power transmission. The
system reduces noise and provides better sensitivity without
compromising strength

SVS Infinity Braking System
The SVS Infinity Braking System in the Curado reel offers
easy-to-manage, consistent spool control and brake force. It
controls spool speed with the external adjustment knob so you can
make fast and precise adjustments in all conditions.

X-Ship
By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with the S-ARB bearings
and integrating bigger drive gear, Shimano increased the gearing
efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with
ultra-light handle rotation; less effort and power giving a perfect
rotation even under heavy loads.

The Rod
The new Shimano #KAOS Baitcasting Rod is designed
from the ground up by the team at Shimano NZ to suit New Zealand
species and fishing conditions. Featuring the new vibrant WINN
grips, this rod not only provides top end comfort, but also a
unique feel, only previously found in custom rod builds. The T45
blank construction, with its internal carbon wrap is used on
industry leading Toray carbon which creates a light, balanced and
crisp action with outstanding blank recovery. The #KAOS also
features Fuji soft touch reel seats and guides to highlight and
complete the whole aesthetics and quality of this class leading
rod. When it comes to lure fishing, whether it’s dropping Shimano
metal lures or casting softbaits and small top water lures, the
Shimano #KAOS has it covered.

WINN Grips
Unlike traditional cork or EVA grips, the new WINN grips are made
from high quality polymer formulated to provide firmness, texture,
